Kristen R. Aversa
M.D., FACOG
Dr. Aversa graduated from Yale undergraduate with a B.A. in psychology and graduated with the honor of Alpha-Omega-Alpha from the Yale School of Medicine.
She completed her Ob-Gyn residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and from 2003 until May of 2012, she has practiced general obstetrics and gynecology in a private practice setting. In July of 2012, Dr. Aversa enthusiastically joined the newly formed Generations Ob-Gyn when Asis Medical Associates merged with Obstetrics and Gynecology of North Haven.
Dr. Aversa has several honors including the Connecticut Society of American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists- Yale Medical Student Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1999, Patient’s Choice Award in both 2010 and 2011, and Compassionate Doctor Award in 2011.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine. She has been a Clinical Instructor at Yale New-Haven Hospital and she was recently elected to the Yale-New Haven Hospital Medical Board.
