Joseph T. Grosso, M.D. attended New York University where he graduated with B.A. Degrees in Biology and Economics with Honors in 1980. In 1984 Dr. Grosso earned his M.D. degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 1988.
Dr. Grosso joined the private practice of Dr. James J. Brady in July of 1988. After the untimely passing of Dr. Brady in 1992, Dr. Grosso joined Obstetrics and Gynecology of North Haven. He continued in the practice until July, 2012, when Obstetrics and Gynecology of North Haven merged with Asis Medical Associates to form Generations Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Grosso received his Board Certification from The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1990. He is a member of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and past President of The New Haven Obstetrical Society. He has been a Clinical Instructor at The Yale University School of Medicine since 1988. His professional interests involve the general practice of obstetrics and gynecology including minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery
