Nina Rivera

Dr. Nina Rivera, M.D., M.Ed., IBCLC graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2016 and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Rivera graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.A. in English in 2006. After completing her Master of Education at Yale University and teaching at James Hillhouse High School in New Haven, she returned to higher education to pursue a career in medicine. During her medical training she acquired additional expertise in lactation and obtained license as a certified lactation consultant in 2017.
She enthusiastically returned to Connecticut to join the excellent physician team at Generations Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2020. Honors received include Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident Award, Cleveland Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Mortimer Highest CREOG Award, and University of Connecticut Lyman Stowe Award.
She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
