Choose which office you would like to visit and call to schedule an appointment. Please try to schedule you appointment when you will not be having your anticipated menstrual period.
Before you are examined, we will go over your past medical history. During this time, please feel free to discuss any issues or concerns you may be having. Depending on your age, past medical conditions or present concerns, we may also discuss mammograms, bone density screenings, birth control, HPV vaccinations and sexually transmitted infections.
Your gynecologic exam will most often include breast and pelvic exams, a pap smear collection and a STI test.

If you have been off birth control and trying to conceive within one year of having regular unprotected sex, you may have infertility problems and it is recommended that you and your partner are evaluated.

For many women, menopause happens around 50 years of age. Menopause marks the end of a woman's reproductive years, and is diagnosed after not receiving a menstrual period for one year. The time leading up to menopause is called perimenopause, which can begin many years before menopause. For most women, the last one to two years of perimenopause is when they experience the most symptoms.

For many women and couples, deciding to have a baby is a very important decision!
If you are planning to become pregnant:
We encourage you to make a pre-pregnancy checkup. During a pre-pregnancy checkup, a physical exam will take place, as well as a review of your medical, family and obstetrical history. We will also discuss any medications you are currently taking and we would plan a healthy diet and lifestyle.
If you are trying to become pregnant:
For many couples who have been off birth control, will conceive within one year of having regular unprotected sex. However, many couples have trouble conceiving and may need help. In that case, a fertility evaluation will be recommended for you and your partner.

Please call your doctor as soon as you find out you are pregnant. The first few weeks of pregnancy are very important in healthy child development. Your doctor would like you to come in 6-10 weeks into your pregnancy for your initial prenatal visit. During this visit, any questions you may have will be answered and detailed information will be discussed to having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby!
