Generations OB/GYN is proud to be affiliated with Yale Medicine for insurance verification and billing. While we remain an independent group with the same locations, hours, and physician coverage, Yale Medicine will handle insurance verification and billing to streamline your experience.

Yale Medicine will contact you 7 to 10 days before your scheduled appointment to verify your current insurance information. If you miss their call, they will try again—please return their call at your earliest convenience to avoid delays during your visit.

Our patient scheduling continues to be managed by our own staff, ensuring personalized service and convenient appointment options across our four locations.

INSURANCE VERIFICATION MADE SIMPLE

What You Need to Know

Yale Medicine assumes responsibility for verifying your insurance information prior to your appointment. This eliminates the need to transfer your insurance details when you arrive at our office.

To ensure a smooth process:

  • Please bring your current insurance card and photo ID to every visit.
  • If you haven’t communicated with Yale Medicine before your appointment, let us know of any changes to your insurance, address, or contact information.
  • Update your health and profile information in the MyChart Portal before your visit. Use the Health Questionnaire in the Menu tab and complete E-Check In a few days prior to your appointment. During E-Check In, you can upload a photo of your current insurance card(s) to save time.

We do not process any payments in our offices. All payments will be managed via Yale’s billing portal.
